JOB DESCRIPTION: Outside Sales Rep

DEPARTMENT: Sales - Chico/Redding/Marysville/Fairfield
REPORTS TO: President
POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Exempt


SUMMARY:Ray Morgan Company is a rapidly growing organization whose culture is built on the concept of teamwork. Ray Morgan Company is a leading provider of document technology products and services. Our mission is to maximize organizational productivity by delivering effective automated business process and content management solutions that boost efficiency and profitability. The purpose of the Outside Sales Representative position is to represent the company by showcasing and selling the services and products. The primary focus of the Outside Sales Representative is to work with prospects by handling onsite appointments and providing demonstrations.

Essential job functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Initiate contact with prospects that has been generated by the Marketing team
  • Work with prospects to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands
  • Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to prospects
  • Work with management to develop proposals, quotes, and respond to RFP/RFQ documents
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations
  • Manage the complexity of Managed IT service proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities through company’s internal systems and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures

 
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer’s needs
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
  • Understand processes using internal systems/communication devises

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Account Manager - Pro IT Solutions

DEPARTMENT: Sales - Chico/Redding/Marysville
REPORTS TO: President
POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Exempt


Essential job functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with active customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands
  • Cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to existing accounts
  • Qualify new sales opportunities for current customers
  • Receive requests for service and product details from customers and provide timely responses
  • Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to active customers
  • Work with management to develop proposals, quotes and respond to RFP/RFQ documents
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account
  • Manage the complexity of Managed IT service proposals, contracts lease agreements, and service level agreements
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in ConnectWise and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures
  • Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with prospects and work to give them the best possible service

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer’s needs
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as it occurs
  • Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise University
  • Enter all work as activities or service tickets into ConnectWise
